There are FUNDRAISERS organised at every point during the Program to ensure that there is maximum publicity, and that money is raised to finance the project. The FUNDRAISERS are:
- BID ON YOUR FAVOURITE CELEBRITY
Celebrities and well-known personalities/business will be auctioned off to the highest bidders. Two hours of the celebrity’s time is the prize and may be spent socially or professionally. The celebs already signed up are

This will be a day where people are treated to the celebrity experience of Photo-shoots. They will have their make up done, be dressed by a stylist, and then have their pictures taken professionally
- JEANS FOR GENES FASHION SHOW
This will be a runway event where established and new designers will exhibit their collection. One signature outfit from each designer will then be sold to raise money for the project
- s.h.a.r.e PRESENTS: THE DANCE OFF
This is a Dance Competition featuring the biggest names in dance
- PREMIERE AND CLOSING NIGHT
In August, THESE GENES; SICKLE CELL PROJECT will present what it has achieved from January. The Short Film will also be aired, and there will be music, poetry, dance and glamour!
